Pupil Attainment 2017-18
For another year we have seen outstanding pupil results across all age phases. Well done on a great cooperative effort by pupils, staff and parents/carers. Please be aware that with our small cohorts of children, percentages can vary significantly year on year.
Early Years Foundation Stage:
80% of our Reception children achieved a Good Level of Development. This is above the national figure.
Year 1 Phonics:
79% achieved the required standard, which is broadly in line with the national figure.
KS1 Test Results:
The results indicate the percentage of children that achieved Age Related Expectations.
Reading: 82% (National Average: 75.6%)
Writing: 82% (National Average: 68.3%)
Maths: 82% (National Average: 75.2%)
Reading, Writing and Maths combined: 74% (National Average: 82.7%)
Key Stage 2 SATs (Year 6 children)
The children completed test papers in Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation (SPAG), Reading and Mathematics. The Writing result was based on assessed work over the year.

Reading: 84% (National Average: 75%)
Maths: 95% (National Average: 75%)
Writing: 79% (National Average: 78%)

Pupils achieving greater depth:
SPAG: 32% (No National Average available)
Reading: 37% (National Average: 28%)
Maths: 5% (National Average: 23%)
Writing: 16% (National Average: 20%)
Reading, Writing & Maths combined: 5% (National Average: 20%)
