Learning together with faith, hope and love

Rabbit Class

Our topic for the Summer term is called Living Together.

The children walked around the school and took photographs of places and things that make it a successful community.

We then used Photostory to make Castle Camps School Community videos.

Autumn Term in Rabbit Class

We have been very busy this term. Temples, Tombs and Treasure was our first topic. We learnt a lot about ancient Egypt and had lots of fun building sugar cube pyramids, making scarab beetles and we even had our own Egyptian day.

Nana Mexico

We then had a visit from Luis, who owns a restaurant called Nana Mexico. He came to our school to teach us about healthy foods and to show us how to make guacamole. The children loved squeezing the avocado into the bowls and mushing it up.  After his visit, we wrote recipes and thank you letters which we sent in the post. The story also made the Cambridge Evening News!
