School Dinners

Our Catering Provider

Our catering service is provided by Aspens. They are the leading provider of catering services to schools across the UK and believe school lunches should be freshly prepared, great-tasting and attractively presented to engage pupils.

Aspens' menus are fully nutritionally checked by their expert in-house team and meet the Government’s school food standards.  Seasonal and nutritionally balanced healthy menus offering variety along with new dishes to stimulate inquisitive minds. Aspens understand their responsibility and the importance of educating young people on good nutrition and healthy lifestyles via their education programmes.  They are proud of their support for local and British suppliers – sourcing the best possible quality ingredients and produce from well respected, stringently selected and continually audited farmers and growers.

Aspens have always taken the issue of food allergies extremely seriously. If any pupil has an allergy, an intolerance or a medical condition that calls for a special diet, their in-house expert team of nutritionists make sure pupils are fully and safely catered for with special menus, procedures and local training.

School dinners, cooked on site in our school kitchen, are £2.60 per day, however all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and 2 are entitled to a government universal FREE school dinner each day.
