FOCCS

The Friends of Castle Camps School is a group of enthusiastic parents and staff committed to raising funds and putting on events to help the school and your children. FOCCS is run by an elected committee, which welcomes the involvement of parents both as committee members and occasional volunteers.To raise funds, FOCCS supports lots of events for the children such as Disco Evenings, Fairs, Sports Days and a lot more.

 

Money has been raised which will be used to enhance the education of our children, but, more importantly, parents, teachers, governors, pupils and others have worked together with a common purpose. In doing so, closer, co-operative relationships have been developed which benefit the school as a whole.

Every year, we choose a 'big project' which is something large we aim to raise money for. The school team and FOCCS have decided that our aim for this year is to raise money to develop our Camps Island area. The children will be able to use the area throughout the curriculum, including science, art and geography.
