Daniel Williamson (Staff Governor)
Mr Williamson was appointed Deputy Headteacher at Castle Camps from September 2025, returning to a school community he knew well and deeply respected. Having worked there four years earlier, he remembered the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by its staff, pupils and families. In the interim, he continued to develop professionally, strengthening his expertise in teaching and learning - particularly in Maths and Computing - and engaging in further training and collaboration across schools to refine his inclusive, inspiring approach to education. Returning to Castle Camps has given him the opportunity to bring back this enriched experience along with a renewed sense of purpose, ensuring every child receives high-quality teaching and support, while re-establishing relationships with familiar faces and building new ones within the community.
Joanne Capuano
Jo has over 20 years’ experience supporting vulnerable children and adults, beginning in 2000 at Chalkstone Middle School. Since 2017, she has overseen services for looked-after children across multiple authorities, now serving as Operations Director, Head of Safeguarding, and Ofsted-registered Responsible Individual. Her career is driven by a commitment to trauma-informed, multi-agency practice. A mother and grandmother with strong community values, Jo was inspired to apply for this role by a late friend who encouraged her to use her passion for supporting children more widely.
