    Good luck to our football team who are playing in the 7-a-side Schools' Cup at Impington Village College this afternoon. Fingers crossed for an excellent result! The presentation of the cup is at 2:30pm and we will aim to get back to Castle Camps as soon as possible after that.
  • Family Learning Workshops

    Thank you to all the parents that were able to support our Family Learning Workshops. I've had some lovely comments from parents and we are hoping to plan in further workshops later in the term. Tonight, we are looking forward to decorating Bird Boxes in Class 3 and participating in 'Music and Merriment' in the Hall. I have just seen Mrs MacBean walk down the corridor carrying several ukuleles, so it looks like an exciting afternoon is planned!
  • Film Night

    Thank you to all the families that supported Film Night. The children thoroughly enjoyed the film and the money raised from the sale of snacks will go towards our new ICT equipment (laptops for children).
  • International Links: Letters from America

    There was much excitement in Deer and Badger Classes this week when the children received letters from pupils at Wixon Innovation School, Massachusetts. Mrs Wright has established close links with Wixon via the British Council and we are hoping  to build on this partnership in the future. Our children were delighted to receive the letters and surprised to note the differences in American/English spellings. Deer and Badger Classes have drafted their replies, which will be sent off in the next couple of weeks. A link to Wixon's website is listed below:

  • RWB Day: Join us for Breakfast!

    Please check your child's book bags tonight (03/10/14) for a letter regarding our Red, White and Blue Day Breakfast. We hope that you will be able to join us on Friday, 10th October and help raise money for our armed forces charities. Don't forget: this is a non-uniform day. The children are encouraged to wear red, white and blue and to donate £1 towards these charities. Thank you.

  • Linton Village College Presentation

    We were delighted to welcome Mrs Caroline Derbyshire the Headteacher at Linton Village College to Castle Camps today. Mrs Derbyshire gave a presentation to the Year 6 children about moving up to LVC and there was the opportunity for the children to ask questions.
