Dear Parent/Carer,
Following this evening’s PM briefing, all LA maintained schools in Cambridgeshire have been advised by the Local Authority to close to all pupils tomorrow (Tuesday, 5th January). This includes the children of key workers and is to prepare for the move to key worker and remote learning provision. It is our intention to open to Key Worker children from Wednesday. 

Thank you to those parents that have requested Key Worker places; we will be reviewing this tomorrow morning and be in contact with those parents. We will close the survey at 10pm tonight to allow us to make arrangements based on initial numbers. Please only request a place if there is no alternative option.

It is with much regret that this information has been sent to you at such short notice, but we only received notification at 8pm tonight, too.

I understand this is a very anxious and concerning time for all our families. Please check your emails tomorrow morning, as we will be sending out a letter from the school,  together with a copy of the Local Authority statement, which was released this evening. You may have seen in the press, that it is the Local Authority’s expectation that all Cambridgeshire primary schools will open from tomorrow, as planned. As you will appreciate, this is an extremely challenging and ever-changing situation for us all. However, as a LA maintained school, it is our intention to open from Tuesday, as directed.
