Important: Cambridge Evening News - Threat to Schools
Wed 28 Mar 2018You may have seen in the Cambridge Evening News today, that a large number of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough schools have received an anonymous email, suggesting that a car would be driven at pupils after school. Please note, that we have not received this email at Castle Camps. Cambridgeshire Police are advising all parents and staff to be vigilant, and to contact them if we identify a specific threat. Please be assured that the safety of your children remains, as always, our paramount concern. Whilst we believe this to be a hoax (the second one now), we ask all parents to be remain vigilant on their journeys home from school.

Bomb hoax sent to Cambridgeshire schools.
Mon 19 Mar 2018IMPORTANT: A large number of Cambridgeshire schools received a non-specific bomb threat this morning just after 9.30am. The Local Authority has been in direct contact with the senior officer in the Force Control Room and has kept schools updated. All schools, including ours, were advised to report the email threat to the police - which we did. The police assessed the risk as very low, as it did not identify a specific school. They asked us to sweep the school and to contact them if we found anything suspicious. We were not asked to evacuate and have no plans to close the school. The children are happy and safe; they have not been informed of the scare.
