Congratulations to Hedgehog Class for completing the Coin Jar Challenge. Their jar contained a grand total of £27.14. The children have asked for gardening equipment (seeds, pots and soil) as a reward, as they would like to grow their own plants. The jar is being returned tomorrow, so they can fill it up again and earn another treat.

South Cambridgeshire Gymnastics Tournament: A fantastic tournament today, with our Castle Camps Team coming 8th out of 18 schools. The team all gave 100% and their behaviour was exemplary. Thank you to all those that helped prepare the team - especially Lulu in Y6, who has given up her lunchtimes to coach the children - and to our parents that came along to support the event. Well done, everyone! 🤸🏻‍♂️🏅

  • Young Voices 2020

    Sun 26 Jan 2020 Miss O’Connor

We are so proud of our amazing Young Voices Choir. They sounded terrific and were incredible ambassadors for our school. Thank you to Mrs MacBean and Mrs Evans for preparing the children so well (we ‘couldn’t do it without you’). A special thank you, as well, to all our supporters at the O2, who braved the Friday night traffic to join us. If you were unable to hear the choir sing at the Arena, they will be performing a selection of songs from the concert at 2:15pm on Friday, 31st January in the school hall. Tickets are on sale in the school office. 🎶❤️

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Williamson on the birth of their baby daughter, who arrived in the early hours of this morning - weighing a very healthy 10lbs 2oz. Mr Williamson will begin his paternity leave today and in his absence, Mrs Val Williams will be covering Deer Class for the next fortnight. I am sure you will want to join me in sending the couple our love and warmest wishes.
