    Each year, schools within the Ely Diocese are invited to participate in the Lent Challenge. This year, we have been exploring Climate Change and how the bible teaches us about God's world. As part of the challenge, children in Badger Class delivered a small Lenten gift of a potted plant to our neighbours. 🌸

  • STEM Week: Micro-bit Workshops

    STEM Week: Thank you to Mr and Mrs Swan, for running KS2 micro-bit workshops yesterday. A micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that introduces children to how software and hardware work together. It has a LED light display, buttons, sensors and many input/output features for children to program and physically interact with. During the sessions, the children had the opportunity to create a name badge, beating heart and step counter. https://microbit.org

    Huge congratulations to all our pupils that participated in the iRock Concert this morning. They were fabulous! All the children were extremely well-supported by friends and family that joined us for the concert.

  • Y6 Residential: Goodbye to Thorpe Woodlands

    Y6 Residential: It's 2:40pm and we are just waiting for the coach to arrive. We've heard it may be a little delayed reaching us. It's been an amazing 3 days.

    We had a quiet night and the children have tucked into a hearty breakfast. It's Zip Wire, Climbing and Den Building today. We aim to leave Thorpe Woodlands this afternoon at 2:30pm, so should be back at school between 3:30pm and 4pm. The children have been an absolute pleasure to bring away, so "a big thank you" from Mrs Fisher and I for preparing them so well for the trip. Apologies in advance for the muddy laundry...

  • Y6 Residential: Day 2

    After a quiet night, the children have truly excelled themselves today. Activities included: Climbing, Zip Wire, Biking and Canoeing. They have all been supportive of each other and given 100%. We couldn't be more proud.

    The children have been amazing and we are so proud of them. After a good journey, we enjoyed a tour of the camp and settled into our pods. This afternoon, we completed: Biking, Team Challenges and Zip Wire. Now we are preparing for the Camp Fire.
