Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)

At Castle Camps School, we pride ourselves on our inclusive approach to learning. We have a dedicated team of teachers and teaching assistants who strive to meet the needs of all our children. At times, children may require a little bit of additional support and this is where our Special Needs Co-ordinator, Mrs Claire Evans, may become involved.

In September 2014, the new Special Educational Needs Code of Practice came into effect. As part of this process schools and the Local Authority have to publish details about how children with special educational needs are supported.
