Road Safety Concern
Yesterday afternoon, a local resident came into the School Office to express concerns about the safety of children playing on the High Street. The children were on bikes and scooters in the middle of the road and although the driver was travelling slowly, he still had to brake sharply to avoid hitting them. The incident occurred between 3:30pm - 4pm. I have spoken to the 3 KS2 Classes this morning about being safe on the roads. Please reinforce this message at home, too. Thank you.
